Welcome Maryam Khan!

Please join us in welcoming Maryam Khan, Clinical Research Coordinator, to the Division!

Maryam started this past Monday morning and will be supporting Dr. Theresa Allison in her research as a CRC.  Maryam earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from UC Davis. She recently obtained her CA-RN license and completed the RN year of her master’s degree in nursing at UCSF. She is currently pursuing an MSN degree in the AGPC-NP specialty at UCSF.

In her most recent role as a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator at Stanford's Pain Clinic she led two major studies: Duloxetine vs. Desipramine Study, Bioness Stimrouter Registry, and was a secondary CRC for two additional studies. Maryam was also a Clinical Vascular Surgery Intern under Dr. Eri Fukaya at Stanford, where she gained experience in writing protocols for IRB and Standard Operating Procedures, recruiting study participants, maintaining patient screening log, and data entry for nationwide FMD registry.  She also does volunteer work for various non-profits doing social media work including the Rahima Food Bank based in Santa Clara, CA.

Maryam has a wealth of experience in working with patients and enjoys being part of a team! In Maryam’s new role as Clinical Research Coordinator, she will be responsible for study coordination, data collection, management, quality control and supporting all research protocol and regulatory responsibilities of Dr. Allison’s research.  Maryam can be reached at [email protected]  if you need to get a hold of her.
