Angelica Martinez Promoted to Associate Research Finance Analyst, Continues Dual Role

Congratulations to Angelica Martinez on formally stepping into the Associate Research Finance Analyst role on the core admin team!

Angelica joined the Division in 2023 as a part-time Research Program Assistant, supporting research studies for several PIs, including close collaboration with Dr. Rebecca Sudore on PREPARE. She quickly advanced to Research Project Coordinator and continues to work with Dr. Sudore, as well as Dr. Louise Walter, on a range of research projects and administrative efforts.

In 2024, when a vacancy arose on the core admin team, Angelica stepped in to train in research finance and support critical administrative functions during a transitional period. Since then, she has been serving as our Interim Junior Research Finance Analyst.

Today, we are thrilled to formally announce her as our Associate Research Finance Analyst. In this role, Angelica will support approximately 10–15 Principal Investigators across all pre- and post-award functions, while continuing to serve in a hybrid capacity as both RFA and Research Coordinator.
