Kenneth Covinsky Honored as 2026 SGIM Distinguished Professor of Geriatrics

Kenneth Covinsky, MD, MPH was the SGIM Distinguished Professor of Geriatrics at the 2026 meeting of the Society of General Internal Medicine, held in Washington DC.  In the spirit of a true generalist geriatrician, his talk ranged from hospital acquired disability to prognosis to disparities. At the conclusion of his talk, Ken received a lengthy standing ovation and a Chicago Cubs Jersey with his name and the year.
