A Sweet Reminder for Ageism Awareness Day

In recognition of Ageism Awareness Day on October 9, Stanyan staff—including nurses, therapists, hospitalists, and IM house staff—received a sweet reminder about the impact of ageism on older adults’ health.

Drs. Marielle Bolano, Stephanie Cordonnier, and Kathryn Eubank designed custom candy bar wrappers featuring facts about the health impacts of ageism. Amber Ngan and Karen Yuan wrapped an impressive 150 candy bars, which Megan Rathfon, NP and Dr. Eubank distributed across the units.
