Welcome Dr. Jaime Rosenthal!

This week we are excited to welcome Dr. Jaime Rosenthal to the UCSF Division of Geriatrics faculty who started on September 1, 2024.

‌Dr. Rosenthal completed her MD, Internal Medicine Residency and Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at Boston University School of Medicine before moving to the Bay Area this summer. Her medical training has included a Quality Improvement Pathway focus and she has received several awards for her Quality Improvement projects in Geriatrics, including implementing a standardized Geriatric medication review process to improve medication safety for older adults. She is joining our clinician educator faculty with a focus on home-based medical care. She will be an attending physician in the UCSF Care at Home Program, providing longitudinal primary care for older adults who have great difficulty leaving their homes to access medical care as well as teaching our fellows and other trainees who participate in UCSF Care at Home. In addition, Dr. Rosenthal will be participating in the US Deprescribing Research Network and related activities, such as group efforts to bring deprescribing recommendations into clinical practice guidelines and organizing deprescribing related research and quality improvement collaborations at UCSF and nationally. Dr. Rosenthal’s professional passion is to improve the health and well-being of older adults.
