Bay Area Older Adult Community Resource of the Week – The hear/say Readers’ Theater

This week’s Geri Community Resource is: The hear/say Readers’ Theater.

The hear/say Readers’ Theater features voices from our community sharing powerful stories about aging, dementia, caregiving, and creativity – stories that are heartfelt, honest, and deeply human. This event is part of the hear/say project, a collaboration between UCSF’s Memory and Aging Center, the Global Brain Health Institute, and Voice of Witness. Since 2016, hear/say has amplified underrepresented voices to deepen empathy, reduce stigma, and celebrate the richness of life and brain health. Join them for a live storytelling event that brings real-life narratives to the stage through moving performances at the Rock Hall, Pottruck Auditorium on August 5, 2025 from 3pm – 4:30pm.
