Welcome Dr. Patricia Myung!

This week we are excited to welcome Dr. Patricia Myung to the UCSF Division of Geriatrics faculty starting on August 26, 2024. 

Dr. Myung completed her Family Medicine Residency at UC Irvine and then worked as a primary care physician at West Berkeley Family Practice (LifeLong Medical Care) and Asian Health Services.  For the past 14 years she has provided longitudinal long-term care to medically and psychosocially complex patients at Laguna Honda Hospital, including end-of-life and palliative care. In addition, Dr. Myung is board certified in HIV Medicine and has served as a physician consultant for the National HIV/AIDS Clinicians’ Consultation Center since 2008, offering her expertise to clinicians across the country regarding bloodborne pathogen post-exposure and HIV treatment. Dr. Myung is joining our clinician educator faculty and will be working in the San Francisco VA Health Care System Community Living Center.
