Carla Perissinotto Advances Social Connection in California and Beyond

Carla Perissinotto, MD, MHS recently joined California First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom at the Vatican for a global summit on social connection, highlighting social connection as an urgent public health priority.

Dr. Perissinotto is also serving as a member of California’s newly established Social Health Council, which brings together leaders to address loneliness and social isolation and strengthen community connection across the state.
