Cyrus Ahalt Shares Information about COVID-19 in the Correctional Setting

Cyrus Ahalt, MPP shared information about COVID-19 in the correctional setting to the membership of the correctional officer union for Colorado’s state prison system. He covered basic information on COVID-19; how Correctional Officers can slow the spread of disease to best protect incarcerated people, themselves, and their families; and how prison systems can support staff and residents by putting health first in changing policy and practice to respond to the epidemic. The conversation was convened and moderated by OneVoice, a national prison reform advocacy group representing correctional officer unions around the country.
