Drs. Brown and Nicosia awarded Department of Veterans Affairs Quality Enhancement Research Initiative Funding

Drs. Rebecca Brown and Francesca Nicosia were funded by the Department of Veterans Affairs Quality Enhancement Research Initiative for their study titled, “A Partnered Evaluation to Improve Identification and Management of Functional Impairment and Frailty for Older Veterans in VA Primary Care.” This 3-year trial in collaboration with the VA Office of Geriatrics & Extended Care, Primary Care, and Office of Nursing Services will evaluate national implementation and outcomes of routine functional status measurement for older veterans in Geriatrics and Primary Care clinics.
