Richard Parenteau to Lead New Clinical Trials Site in Oakland Focused on Alzheimer's, Depression, and Health Equity
We are delighted to announce that Richard Parenteau, MD, who is one of our stellar research fellows, has accepted a position as Principal Investigator for a new clinical trials site in Oakland, CA (https://www.oaklandclinical.com). Their major area of research will be Alzheimer's disease prevention and treatment, and they will also run some studies on depression and metabolic health. The overarching goal of this site is to increase enrollment of diverse and underrepresented populations into clinical trials. We are also thrilled that Richard will continue with the UCSF Division of Geriatrics as a Volunteer Clinical Instructor and will serve on our clinical fellowship selection committee.
