Stephanie Rogers and Research Team Published Article in Trauma Surgery

Dr. Stephanie Rogers (Geriatrics) and Drs. Ward, Roberts, and Kandemir (Orthopedics)  published an article in Trauma Surgery entitled "Protocol-based interdisciplinary co-management for hip fracture care: 3 years of experience at an academic medical center."  They found that using hip fracture standardized protocols with Geriatrics co-management improved time to surgery and hospital length of stay without increased readmissions or mortality.
