Welcome Dana Fong!
Please join us in welcoming Dana Fong, PREPARE Project Coordinator, to the Division of Geriatrics!
Dana started this past Monday morning and will be supporting Dr. Rebecca Sudore and her PREPARE Team on projects focused on investigating and improving healthcare communication and decision making in older persons. Dana graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design-Interior Architecture and a minor in Art Studio. Most recently, Dana worked at the UCSF Vaccination Clinics in support of COVID-19 vaccinations distributions and efforts. Thus, she is no stranger to UCSF! In fact, it was through that wonderful experience that prompted her to seek other employment opportunities within UCSF. Outside of UCSF, Dana is a freelancer, as well as a Senior Multimedia Designer. She is an artist, graphics designer, virtual instructor, and birthday party instructor for face painting and chalk drawings. She also has experience designing brochures, flyers and marketing material, websites and is very well-versed in all social media platforms. Also noteworthy is that she previously worked as a Project Assistant for a Real Estate Development, responsible for creating FF&E specification packages for HOA and preparing RFI’s, bid packages, take-offs, and bank draws.
As the newest member of the PREPARE team, Dana’s new role will be focused on coordinating and assisting with project planning and implementation, website, video and material development and review, legal analysis and collaboration with legal, business and licensing colleagues and development activities, stakeholder and partner outreach, media outreach, social media efforts, database tracking and research support. We’re very excited that Dana has decided to join our team! She can be reached at [email protected] if you’d like to get a hold of her. Thank you for your attention and welcome Dana!
